For those of you who missed out of this post from last week, this month I am doing a fun collaboration with Stylefiesta.com wherein I created a capsule collection of a few selected pieces! As it begins to get hotter by the day, I tend to stick to more minimalistic pieces of jewellery. I have been loving the cutout cuffs and the new twist on chokers trend! Easy pieces that can instantly add a modern edge to almost any outfit. Statement earrings and necklaces are a staple in all our wardrobes. And even though I own enough, I can barely stop myself from reaching for the ones in fresher hues. Bright orange and yellow, fuchsia or even a simple white one, fit perfectly in my summer wardrobe. Body chains is another thing I am trying out this summer. They seem to work splendidly with them coveted cropped tops. Which is your current favourite summer jewellery piece?

Sometimes accessories are the show of an outfit. A boring typical outfit with colours that don't seem that fascinating can be easily jazzed up with interesting pieces. Be it a ring, a watch, a diamante bag or even attention seeking shoes. I have been in love with rose gold accessories. My watch may have started the trend, but it seems never ending now. Anyway so next time when in doubt while wearing that boring ensemble, turn your fate with some aid from your accessory (fairy) box. It never lets you down. This is also for people who think accessories are a waste of money and space. Think again.

With love.

This week I received the 'Fashion-Blogger Bee' tag from Femina Magazine. I was thrilled when they told me about it. But I was more excited when I was notified that this is a part of their brand new campaign " For all the women you are " through which they have chosen to put spotlight on the modern Indian women's expanding role & changing equations at home, workplace, social space, personal life and online space. I am humbled to be a part of this amazing campaign which aims at women empowerment and supporting it in every form. You can check out Femina's facebook page for more information on this. Here's a video shot by Anurag basu, featuring Kalki Koechlin celebrating the relaunch campaign - it denotes the quintessential woman - in all roles of her life. Link

In other news, I'm looking forward to watch the new Planet of the Apes movie which is releasing this Friday and I am also eagerly awaiting the Blenders Pride Fashion Tour which is happening all through out this weekend. Will try and post outfit pictures and other stuff from the event.
