Cropped top- Forever21, Skirt- New Look(available on Asos), Sunglasses- Mango, Necklace- New Look, Shoes- Aldo, Bag- Zara

We shot this look back in April. Now I could have easily skipped it and moved on. But this look has all the components that I have been obsessed with over the past few months and I don't think my obsession is fading out anytime soon. Cropped tops, humongous floral prints, silver necklaces & mirrored sunglasses! All of these pieces are so versatile but look great in unison too. If you happen to follow me on Instagram, you probably saw how I layered three silver necklaces with a white cropped top for a night out. I was never into silver jewellery that extensively but these seem to have done the trick.

Summer & Monsoon call for easy, casual dressing so it's the simple details that make your outfit more appealing. A simple printed t-shirt dress with a semi bright lip and vintage RayBan's would be my uniform given a choice! It's a chic look that is perfect for day time and you could amp it up with a denim jacket or a white blazer. Skirts are also an essential during these months. Midi skirts or knee length skirts work the best when it comes to meetings during the day as they are appropriate, stylish and won't drag through on those crazy rainy days!

Cuffed boyfriend jeans are also a key piece to add to your wardrobe. You can pair them with simple t-shirts for a casual approach or with a shirt to slightly smarten them up. If you're not very sure about rocking them & want to refrain from spending too much, keep an eye out during the sales! I snagged mine from Mango on sale last year and they have been my most worn pair in the recent past. Pairing them with sneakers is something I am keen on trying this month!

What are your Summer/Monsoon essentials? Also I am looking at buying a new, cute umbrella so if you've come across any, please leave a comment below or you could even Tweet @aayushibangur or leave a message on Instagram.

Jumpsuit- Bebe, Bag- Majorbrands, Shoes- Bebe, Jewellery- Majorbrands

I am a colour lover and whenever I have to pick between a bright hue or an earthy kind, I always tend to go for the former. But recently, I have been loving the likes of Khaki, rust, tan, creams and brown! It could partly be because, my boyfriend has been into these colours, so he may have inspired me a little. Let's give credit where it's due!

Coming to my outfit, I always rely on Bebe when it comes to picking an outfit for that special occasion. Their clothing is not only made keeping the current trends in mind but have a great fit too! I walked in this time hoping to pick up an outfit for a party I am supposed to head to. I had intended to pick a maxi dress, which is my current favourite style but my mind changed instantly as my eyes fell on this jumpsuit! The colour, the neckline, the flow of the bottoms, it all seemed just perfect. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that Black jumpsuit I wore in Dubai. Ever since then I was looking for another jumpsuit, but most of the ones that I came across were black. So this was a nice change and I can see myself wearing this in so many different ways for so many different occasions! You can dress it up a little more by adding a cream embellished jacket and dress it down with a denim jacket or just by layering an open white shirt!

Of course if you love your colour and want to try out the jumpsuit trend, there are some amazing options for you! My second choice was this coral beauty or then this printed one! Both had the elasticated waist which would give the illusion of a smaller waist line. And then of course this shorter cobalt version looked enticing too. Also, Majorbrands ships all over India, so if you don't have any of these brands in your city, you can now order them online and receive it within a few days! I always go on, to stock up on basic camis, blouses or even shoes because they are always up on a better deal on the site. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this post and I inspired you to try out a jumpsuit asap!

I often get messages and emails from a lot of you regarding Ethnic & Indo Western clothing. I absolutely understand the confusion one faces when it comes to occasion based dressing and as the wedding season approaches again it gets even more chaotic. So I decided to introduce you to one of my favourite places for everything an Indian woman would need when it comes to casual, festive or even bridal clothing!

Palanquine is founded and owned by designer Sandhya Shah, who has been manufacturing & marketing products since 1990. It is committed to deliver high quality, trendy and exclusive ethnic wear for modern women. Initially the focus was on the quintessential Salwar Suits, Ghagra cholis & Sarees but the urge to grow further initiated the brand to expand into Indo Western pieces including Evening gowns, Skirts, Dresses and much more! The finest fabrics are crafted into the most amazing designs and are then treated with finishes and exquisite embroideries, making sure whatever goes to the store and then to the clients is of highest quality.

I was introduced to the store through a friend and I was instantly hooked. The pieces were a perfect mix of contemporary & classic. I was looking at getting an outfit for a friend's Mehendi function and this anarkali and cropped jacket set, suited it perfectly. The simplicity of the anarkali with the perfect ghera and the intricate work on the jacket drew me to it. I of course had the option to get this design customized into whatever colour or style I wanted but I chose to stick to these as pastels & navy fall perfectly into the colour trends for Spring/Summer '14. This outfit would even be perfect for a sangeet or reception! I also loved the versatility of the set because I could use both the pieces together or separately.

So if you're interested in getting an outfit made for any occasion or otherwise, feel free to write to them on palanquineboutique@gmail.com. You could even have a look at their Facebook page for some more of their phenomenal designs and you could order them online itself! You can even find them at the Crescent Moon exhibition at Taj President Hotel, Cuffe Parade on the 27th March! I hope this helps some of you in finding & achieving that perfect outfit!

Love Long Hair

Today when I got back home, I saw this simple white box kept on my table with the text 'Love Long Hair' printed across it. It was pretty cute and I was more than excited to see what's inside! It had a shampoo and conditioner with no brand name on it. I am always trying different shampoos and conditioners so I am more than happy to try these out! I am excited to experiment with this and see whether or not it benefits my long hair. Stay tuned for the review!
