All clothes & Accessories- Only

It's been a super hot month and as we try and get through this scorching heat, comfortable yet stylish clothing becomes our best friend! So when I was asked to style 4 looks from Only's new Summer collection, I was more than thrilled because the store was full of bright hues, lots of lace & crochet, summer dresses and not to forget super comfortable bottoms! I love colour, it's not a secret so I had a ball putting these looks together!

For the first look, I chose a bright tangerine top, which is a summer basic that everyone should own. You could pair it with a skirt, a simple pair of jeans, layer it under a sleeveless vest or even don it with printed bottoms just like me! The simple cut of the top would suit all body types too! I used a simple sleek belt to define my waist and completed the look with an embossed white tote and statement earrings!

For the next look, I diverted towards my favorite summer colours, pink, white & blue! I started off with the distressed light wash jeans which are not only trendy but serve as a perfect base piece. I then threw on a salmon pink flowy tank and added a white blazer for that fresh look! I accessorized by layering multiple silver necklaces & a geometric print clutch. This is a great outfit to wear to a brunch!

The next look is for those girly girls who can't do without their skirts and dresses. I saw this cute white cutout cropped top which I layered with a light weight floral jacket. The easiest way to decide what colour to wear for your bottom if you have a multi-coloured top is by choosing one colour from the top, which for me was a gorgeous blue. A lot of you often ask me what you would wear under a see through cropped top and I would suggest you go with a nice lace bralet which is available at the Only stores too!

The last look was the simplest of them all. I chose a grey muscle tank and wore it over a neon pink lace bralet. A simple pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a polka dot tote acted as the rightful companions!

If you have been meaning to visit the stores, now is the best time as they are running an awesome offer wherein if you Shop worth Rs.4000 you would get accessories worth Rs.2000 absolutely free! So you could literally shop all these looks even if you're on a budget! I hope you guys enjoyed the look. Don't forget to comment below and tell me which one of these was your favourite look! Dress & Sunglasses- Moschino via Crisp, Clutch- Marc Jacobs via Crisp, Blazer- Styldrv, Belt- Colaba(similar), Shoes- Zara, Earrings- Gift

Since little over a year, I have been determined to create a multi-functional wardrobe. Now what that aims at is, accumulating pieces that can be worn in multiple ways and can be paired with multiple pieces. Blazers were the first thing I hit up on. In that process I ended up with what my mom refers to as a tiny store in my room. But I'm not complaining because they are as versatile as a piece of clothing could get! You can pair them with something as basic as a pair of blue jeans or even with fancier dresses. Buy the one's that fit you well and you'll have them in your closet for years to come!

The next item that I think is the most versatile is a tank maxi dress. Not only can you use it for various occasions as they are so easy to dress up or dress down, you can even play around with the silhouette to create different looks. For example, you can gather one end of the maxi dress and tie it into a knot to give that chic gathered hem look! Another way would be put on a slim or wide belt and starting pulling it up from above the belt and letting the loose fabric lay over the belt. This will create a 50's inspired midi dress look. The people over at Crisp were so kind to send this gorgeous printed Moschino maxi dress to me and I've been playing dress up with it since the day I received it. Crisp is an amazing multi-designer store based in Bangalore. So for all of you who have been wanting to get their hands on Stella Mccartney, Marc Jacobs, Moschino and much more, head over now! They have an amazing selection of clothing, shoes & not to forget stunning accessories.

For this look, I decided to go all out with the colours and used my white blazer to tone it down. These bright orange Zara heels that I snagged during the Sale, matched the dress perfectly! To exaggerate the colour palette, I added a bright yellow Marc Jacobs clutch & used a wide metallic belt to accentuate my waist. To finish off, I threw on some jewelled statement earrings and an over sized pair of Victoria Beckham-esque Moschino sunglasses!

Blazer- Styldrv for Spring Break, Top- Asos, Bag- Michael Kors, Necklace-Forever21, On my nails- Flip Flop Fantasy by China Glaze

If you follow me on Twitter, you probably were wondering what all that #just5mins chaos was! Well, it was all about the new Nivea Total Face Cleanup! Now, we all tend to hide behind this 5 minutes excuse be it because of a meeting we're late for, a report we had to finish or even for getting ready in the morning after waking up just 5 minutes late! But Nivea's new product strives to reinforce the just 5 minutes phenomena.

It claims to work as a facewash, scrub, pack, oil remover and a spot reducer, all in one within 5 minutes. Now this could be too much for us to believe but the effervescent Parineeti Chopra, who launched the product & has been using it for over 4 months now, claims it's all true. To support her argument, she also confessed that she is a lazy girl, so anything that promises to do more in less time is a blessing in disguise!

As for me, I've been using the product for a week & I have no complaints so far. I'll put up a review once I've used it for a bit until then, you can order your own FREE Total Face Cleanup sample and try out the product so that you could decide for yourself!
Once you've signed up for the sample, you can also participate in the on going contest by submitting your '5 minutes to beauty story' and stand the chance to win an evening with the gorgeous Parineeti Chopra! Don't wait, go enter, it'll take just 5 minutes!
