Pants- Marquee by Veromoda, Cropped top- Veromoda, Necklace & Bag- Veromoda, Shoes- River Island

Veromoda recently launched it's brand new limited edition collection called Marquee. This collection is designed by Karan Johar adding another feather to his cap. The collection is going to be released in parts for the next couple of months. It's mix of ethereal feminine pieces, edgy details as well as some chic active wear. It's very different from what you would normally find at the high street stores here.

This month's collection is divided into three main themes. The first one is dreamy & feminine matched with vintage shapes that render an ethereal elegance to this collection which is dominated by ivories. Details in gold thread, timeless pearls & beads create a truly regal, timeless and classic fashion experience that disregards all temporary fashion fads & seasonal trends. The second one is a delectable mishmash of Bohemian and futuristic aesthetics. Indulging in the cult of print range, this also includes coordinated separates in the form of short dress suits, pants and tops! The last one takes an electric twist for the party circuit. With the party season at it's all time high, this collection lets shimmer and shine take center stage. Interesting patterns, contemporary silhouttes and jackets in gold, blue, silver, black are the highlights of this one!

For this look, I chose these gorgeous Palazzo pants that fit like a dream. It instantly adds that retro vibe and is perfect for a day time occasion. The self print adds more definition to the ivory base and makes it stand out even more. The fabric has the ideal weight to it which makes it fall perfectly. I paired it with this perforated cropped top in a bright tangerine which plays well with the neutral pants. You could even pair these pants with a sleek white blazer for that coveted coordinated suit look. A statement pearl necklace and a bag in a similar hue complete the look. What do you think of this look? Head over to a Veromoda store to try these pants on and check out the other pieces from this collection and don't forget to tell me what you think!

All clothes & Accessories- Only

It's been a super hot month and as we try and get through this scorching heat, comfortable yet stylish clothing becomes our best friend! So when I was asked to style 4 looks from Only's new Summer collection, I was more than thrilled because the store was full of bright hues, lots of lace & crochet, summer dresses and not to forget super comfortable bottoms! I love colour, it's not a secret so I had a ball putting these looks together!

For the first look, I chose a bright tangerine top, which is a summer basic that everyone should own. You could pair it with a skirt, a simple pair of jeans, layer it under a sleeveless vest or even don it with printed bottoms just like me! The simple cut of the top would suit all body types too! I used a simple sleek belt to define my waist and completed the look with an embossed white tote and statement earrings!

For the next look, I diverted towards my favorite summer colours, pink, white & blue! I started off with the distressed light wash jeans which are not only trendy but serve as a perfect base piece. I then threw on a salmon pink flowy tank and added a white blazer for that fresh look! I accessorized by layering multiple silver necklaces & a geometric print clutch. This is a great outfit to wear to a brunch!

The next look is for those girly girls who can't do without their skirts and dresses. I saw this cute white cutout cropped top which I layered with a light weight floral jacket. The easiest way to decide what colour to wear for your bottom if you have a multi-coloured top is by choosing one colour from the top, which for me was a gorgeous blue. A lot of you often ask me what you would wear under a see through cropped top and I would suggest you go with a nice lace bralet which is available at the Only stores too!

The last look was the simplest of them all. I chose a grey muscle tank and wore it over a neon pink lace bralet. A simple pair of dark wash skinny jeans and a polka dot tote acted as the rightful companions!

If you have been meaning to visit the stores, now is the best time as they are running an awesome offer wherein if you Shop worth Rs.4000 you would get accessories worth Rs.2000 absolutely free! So you could literally shop all these looks even if you're on a budget! I hope you guys enjoyed the look. Don't forget to comment below and tell me which one of these was your favourite look! Also follow them on Twitter and Instagram for regular updates.

Blazer- Marks & Spencer, Dress- Hues, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff, Rings- Romwe, Bracelet- PipaBella, On my lips- Cosmo by Mac

When it rains, all I want to do is, sit with my hot chocolate by the window and admire. And yes, I've done a lot of that in the past one week while the rain gods were going berserk! So when I finally had to step out, smashing prints was the only thing on my mind. I've attempted mixing florals with stripes before and so this time I opted for yet another classic print, the polka dots. I grabbed this jersey jacket in the mid-season Marks&Spencer sale and boy do I love it! When mixing prints, the basic rule is to use one colour as your base colour which would act as a mediator between the prints, which for me was navy blue. The navy blue in the dress and the blazer help create a perfect outfit despite the contradicting prints. I added some minimalistic rings, a wrap bracelet and my current favourite bag to complete the look!

Now the reason I had to step out was to attend a meeting for the exhibition I'm hosting this Saturday, 22nd June 2013, for the Final Sale of the StyleDrive for Spring Break collection along with the phenomenal upcoming jewellery brand, PipaBella! I adore their jewellery and here's a chance for you to grab some pieces from their semi-annual sale and also get a preview of their brand new Monsoon Collection! Come say Hello to me at Lagerbay between 12 to 6 pm and grab some steal deals. I'd love to see you there!

Vertical Explosion

Bag, ring and bracelet- Pret-Amoda, Skirt- Styledrive for Spring Break, Shirt(similar)& Shoes- Zara, Earrings- Colaba

I have been wanting a vertical stripped shirt since a really long time. I saw several on Asos, H&M and even Colaba but none satisfied my check list. I wanted something non black, flowy with gold detailing. So when I walked into Zara and saw this shirt hanging right in the middle of all the colour chaos, I just had to get it. Since then, it's been giving company to all my bright skirts and pants. It goes well with almost any colour!
Besides that, online shopping has taken a serious toll on me. Every morning I wake up to a new website, no jokes. While I've passed oh-so many temptations, I have also succumbed to a few. Pret-amoda, which was relaunched recently is on the top of my list. I've been loving their jewelry, bags and the designer overload. It's a challenge to go onto this website and not buy something! Don't believe me? See it for yourself.

Also, the Styledrive for Spring Break sale has been extended. Don't miss it this time!

Summer Cocktail

Tank- H&m, Skirt- Styledrive for Spring Break Collection, Necklace- Colaba ,Cuff- Topshop, Rings- Blur & Accessorize, Bag- H&m, Sandals- Bata (last year)

I love how colours get so bright during summer and the way orange and purple are taking over the world (courtesy Pantone and Prabal Gurung). I have been wearing so much of both the colours individually but I was surprised to see them go so well together. Not that I haven't seen other people rock this combination before(Gucci spring 2011 should ring some bells) but you know it's always the best when you see yourself doing it right.
I have also been adorning my skirts & dresses like never before. The heat in this city keeps getting worse and what better way to beat the heat than with flowy silhouettes? I also prefer wearing lighter fabrics and minimalistic pieces during summer because I cannot skip my jewellery no matter what. And with statement jewellery making such a huge comeback how could I be left behind? After all I own more jewellery than clothes. No kidding. I think I have spoken enough (here) about how I think investing in accessories is the right thing to do.
Besides me blabbering about my outfits, I have just been busy with finishing off the last segment of the Styledrive for Spring Break collection. It has been such a great learning experience for me! Anyway, hope you guys are having a splendid summer. Until next time.
