All jewellery- Bloom by Tanishq, Top- Romwe, Bralet- Pull&bear

Spring brings with it a scenery that is hard to ignore. The blooming flowers, clear skies & bright sun have us all inspired in innumerable ways. My style definitely gets influenced by it and I love wearing floral prints, stripes and lots of creams, blues and bright hues. The traditional floral shirts get quickly replaced by it's cropped counterparts this season. My favourite way to style them is with skirts of all forms! Unintentionally, all my jeans and trousers tend to take a backseat as we get closer to the hotter months and what I seem to enjoy wearing is skirts & dresses. This year particularly, I have been hooked on to maxi dresses as well as maxi skirts. Not only are they super comfortable and stylish, they are also extremely versatile when it comes to styling. Another trend that has been doing the rounds this season are the loose flowy trousers which tend to resemble maxi skirts but are seemingly more relaxed yet chic!

When it comes to my jewellery, I tend to stick to minimalistic pieces which are also adaptable. Which is why, the new Bloom collection by Tanishq is everything I could ask for this spring! Spring signifies new life, beauty, strength and purity which is why this collection is vibrant, simple yet timeless, celebrating the beauty & energy of every woman. Every piece is inspired by the unique patterns of Sunflowers, Lillies, Roses, Gerberas, Hydrangeas, Chrysanthemum and their intricate petal details. I don't don diamond jewellery that often as I am a fairly clumsy person but when I do, the design has to be simple yet alluring with a modern twist and the perfect amount of detail. Maybe that's the reason that these pieces caught my eye instantly! If you are lured in already, here's a chance for you to win some of this exquisite jewellery! All you have to do is, take part in the Bloom Sparkle Hunt by visiting the Tanishq blog and find the codes of 2 of the pieces that I am wearing in these pictures, match them and list them down in the comment box on their blog. You can follow them on Facebook & Twitter to stay updated with the next step! Don't forget to leave your email address so that if you win, they can get in touch with you asap! Goodluck ladies, go make me proud!

Today marks the third anniversary of StyleDrive! I am trying not to be too excited but excitement is shamelessly gripping me. It's been a rather eventful journey and I have thoroughly enjoyed every step involved! I genuinely want to thank  all of you for showering me with so much love, kind words and for being patient. Now I don't mean to make a big deal out of this, hence let's get to the outfit!

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you probably have seen both these pieces styled differently before. I love pairing this sports inspired t-shirt with my ripped boyfriend jeans for the day and this gorgeous fitted skirt with silk blouses for the evening. But recently while stalking one of my favourite websites,  whowhatwear.com,  I came across this article which made me want to mix these two up! I love the idea of pairing almost everything with a simple tee. One, because it makes any outfit look casual yet chic! Plus you get the freedom to accessorize like a queen.

I have spoken about my love for cobalt a bunch of times before. And if you've been following me for a while you're probably accustomed to my partiality towards all hues of blue. So there was really no questions asked when I saw this skirt and instantly added it to my cart! The asymmetric hem adds a modern look to something which would have been a simple pencil skirt. I added my favourite black heels, my everyday bag and these glasses that I recently snagged from Forever21! Aren't they perfect to turn any look into a Geek Chic one?

The world's most fashionable late-night shopping party was back for the 5th time and this time it was held in Mumbai! The previous installments of this global fashion event were held in New Delhi and hence when the venue shifted to Mumbai, I lapped up the opportunity to witness this fashion extravaganza. Fashion's Night Out is basically another excuse to dress up to the nines and shop till you drop. The Palladium mall was bathed in fuchsia and welcomed shoppers, designers and stars! Many participating stores offered cupcakes and cocktails besides exciting offers to tempt the buyers to swipe their credit cards and indulge in retail therapy. The mall wore the festive spirit till midnight, as the stores stayed open for extended hours and catered to fashion lovers across Mumbai.

I had the opportunity to partner with Ciroc who also happens to be one of the sponsors for the Fashion's Night Out and boy did I have a wonderful time! The dazzling blue and silver installation was one of the most eye catching things with people queuing up to get clicked around it. Ciroc partnered with some amazing brands like Canali, Diesel, Thomas Pink, Kenneth Cole and Paul Smith and served delectable cocktails to shoppers and fashion fiends. Shopping around with complementary cocktails in tow- Perfect.

Some other spots of popular interests included the Le15 counter and Vogue's Pop Up store. You had the chance to choose from over 800 designer steals by 95 designers! The amazing merchandise you could snatch included a Manish Arora designed tote bag, signature T-shirts by Sabyasachi and Monisha Jaisingh and a special FNO India beauty pouch by Play Clan. All of these were also available on koovs.com for those outside Mumbai. This explained the frenzy and serpentine queues outside the store throughout the event!

All in all I had a wonderful time at the event and got a lot of inspiration from some stylishly dressed people. For those of you who missed out, there's always a next time!

Shoes are always such an essential part of every outfit. They can help you dress up or dress down any look. Now there are several ways to quickly transform your casual day time outfit into a chic night time look. You can do it with your makeup, your accessories, a blazer or a pair of heels!  I love wearing flats through the day as they are perfect for running in and out of quick meetings and running errands. But I need heels for any special occasions or night outs or events to make me feel a bit more dressy and confident. There are days when I head out in the morning and can only get back post dinner! A maxi dress or skirt is hence, my perfect companion. They are so versatile, comfortable and can easily be transformed into a night time outfit if needed. I wore this outfit yesterday through a couple of meetings and then later met him up for a cute dinner date. All I really did, was change from my comfortable white sandals into these chunky nude heels with a metallic accent to accentuate that romantic look.

Blazer- Marks & Spencer, Dress- Hues, Bag- Rebecca Minkoff, Rings- Romwe, Bracelet- PipaBella, On my lips- Cosmo by Mac

When it rains, all I want to do is, sit with my hot chocolate by the window and admire. And yes, I've done a lot of that in the past one week while the rain gods were going berserk! So when I finally had to step out, smashing prints was the only thing on my mind. I've attempted mixing florals with stripes before and so this time I opted for yet another classic print, the polka dots. I grabbed this jersey jacket in the mid-season Marks&Spencer sale and boy do I love it! When mixing prints, the basic rule is to use one colour as your base colour which would act as a mediator between the prints, which for me was navy blue. The navy blue in the dress and the blazer help create a perfect outfit despite the contradicting prints. I added some minimalistic rings, a wrap bracelet and my current favourite bag to complete the look!

Now the reason I had to step out was to attend a meeting for the exhibition I'm hosting this Saturday, 22nd June 2013, for the Final Sale of the StyleDrive for Spring Break collection along with the phenomenal upcoming jewellery brand, PipaBella! I adore their jewellery and here's a chance for you to grab some pieces from their semi-annual sale and also get a preview of their brand new Monsoon Collection! Come say Hello to me at Lagerbay between 12 to 6 pm and grab some steal deals. I'd love to see you there!
